Last night we launched the latest version of our integrated Webmail Help tutorial - if you’re not a customer but want to have a look, feel free to click on the 1-Click demo off of our home page; it’s the little blue question mark in top right of every page. We’re pretty jazzed about this project for three reasons:
1. We’re super committed to building the best possible help, instructions and technical documentation to support our products and services. Many companies overlook this very important aspect of building great products and services. We’ve fallen into that category in the past and its something we’re working very hard to turnaround.
2. This is the first project that one of our newest developers took on. He did a kick-ass job and plugged in very well with our creative director and technical writer to bring this project to completion.
3. This is the first project that we coded using Ajax. Our team has really embraced the whole Ajax concept and we’re moving full steam ahead with it in future projects. This is one of the greatest benefits of running a company that knows how to operate in a lean and mean fashion. We can turn on a dime and when new and better ways of doing things emerge, we’re all over it. For those of you who are not familiar with Ajax, no big deal. Ajax is a way of coding web applications if you want to make them REALLY fast. Speed is crucial for us, especially with webmail. Our core webmail interface is not Ajaxed yet, but stay tuned.
